Federal Bank on Monday launched ‘Scan N Pay’ at the Federal Experience Centre, Nedumbassery, near here.

A statement issued by the bank claimed that the innovative product, a mobile-based payment app, was an easy and comfortable mode of making any kind of payment, including payments at retail stores, restaurants, for home deliveries, e-commerce or even person-to-person payments.

The convenience of a mobile, simplicity of quick response code, credibility of immediate payment service facility from the National Payment Corporation of India, and security of mobile PIN converged in the new application, the release said.

‘Scan N Pay’ is a utility developed in-house by Federal Bank and is now enabled on Android phones and will soon be made available on iOS, Windows, and BlackBerry phones.
