The Kochi-based brokerage and wealth management company Doha Brokerage and Financial Services Ltd. (DBFS), an associate of Doha Bank of Qatar, is expanding its business activities to non-banking finance.
A press release from the company said that the NBFC subsidiary of the DBFS group, DBFS Finance and Leasing (India) was entering the market with new products. DFS Finance is an RBI-registered NBFC, which is now offering loan against shares for its captive clients in the brokerage business.
The group will now offer more products like personal and consumer loans, property and gold loans, the press release added. The new products were introduced at a launch event here on June 2.
