B.Tech students of Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) can now obtain their mark lists and degree certificates online.
The varsity has signed an agreement with CDSL Ventures Ltd and NSDL Database Management Ltd in accordance with a University Grants Commission directive. An official release said students could avail the service by registering on the website of the National Academic Depository (NAD) using their Aadhaar number.
Sunil K. Narayanankutty, controller of examinations, said the soft copies of marks lists and certificates would be digitally signed by a competent authority.
The facility will also enable employers to verify the credentials of candidates online. However, they have to get the candidates’ permission to access details.
