City schools fare well in CBSE Class XII exams

Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, won 164 distinctions

Most schools in the city have fared well in the Class XII examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the results of which were announced on Thursday.

Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, won 164 distinctions. The number of distinctions bagged by other schools run by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan are as follows: Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar 128; Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Eroor 126; Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakara 83; Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad 86; Bhavan’s Newsprint Vidyalaya, Velloor, 64; and Bhavan’s Munshi Vidyashram, Thiruvamkulam 80.

Thirty students won A1 in all subjects at Rajagiri Public School, Kalamassery while the corresponding figure at Choice School, Thripunitura was 21. Vidyodaya School, Thevakkal, bagged 132 distinctions. Christu Jayanthi Public School, Kakkanad, won 196 distinctions.

Gregorian Public School, Maradu, won 88 distinctions. Al-Ameen Public School, Edappally, secured 88 distinctions. Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor, bagged 67 distinctions. Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala, won 112 distinctions while Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannamaly, bagged 40 distinctions.

Fifteen students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya School, Thripunitura, won A1 in all subjects. Toc H Public School, Vyttila, secured 120 distinctions. Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School, Kakkanad, won 119 distinctions.

Nalanda Public School, Thammanam, won 27 distinctions. Rajashree S.M.M. School, Aluva bagged 23 distinctions. Greets Public School, Kaloor, secured 38 distinctions. Cochin Refineries School won 104 distinctions. St. Paul’s Public School, Kalamassery, earned 22 distinctions. SBOA Public Senior Secondary School, South Chittoor, secured 47 distinctions. Nava Nirman Public School, Vazhakkala, won 32 distinctions. Sivagiri Vidyaniketan Senior Secondary School, Aluva, bagged 28 distinctions. Mar Thoma Public School, Edachira, won 40 distinctions.

100% results

Some of the other schools that bagged 100% results are Alangad Jama-ath Public School; Sree Narayana Public School, Poothotta; Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir, Kochi; Delta Study, Fort Kochi; and Pragati Academy, Perumbavoor.

Of the 138 students of Navy Children School, half of them scored 90% and above. At NSS Higher Secondary School, Thripunithura, 50 students got distinction. At Cochin Public School, 16 students bagged distinctions, while at Campion School, Edappally, the number of distinctions was 51.
