A meeting of former activists of the SNDP Yogam opposed to Vellappally Natesan, the general secretary of the organisation, has decided to carry out a signature campaign demanding a Vigilance probe against him.
The meeting decided to make at least one-lakh members of the Ezhava community signatories to the campaign. The meeting also decided to organise a meeting of community members in all districts to fight the the BJP-SNDP combine in the ensuing local body elections. K. Gopinathan, former general secretary of the Yogam, presided over the meeting.
Kaavyaad Madhavan Kutty, K.P. Ratnakaran, T.N. Balan, Shaji Nettooran, and N. Chandrasenan were among those who attended.
