The Marine Drive waterfront will be the venue of the fifth snakeboat race under Champions Boat League (CBL), which is being organised by Kerala Tourism on Saturday evening.
Entry to the CBL venue will be opposite CMFRI (Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute) building and near Abad Marina Bay apartments. The heats will start at 2:30 p.m., and the finals by 4:30 p.m. Intermittently, Band Avial will entertain the crowd.
Most prime viewing spots are paid seats (they can be booked through BookMyshow). At the same time, there are enough free spaces for the public to watch the race.
At the culmination of the four races in September, Tropical Titans was leading, having won all the four, with 55 points. Mighty Oars is at the second position and has 29 points, while Coast Dominators is a close third with 27 points.
