Bike rally to promote child safety arrives in city

Around 300 motorbike riders who are part of the State Child Rights Protection Commission’s initiative to create awareness on child safety were accorded a reception at Maharaja’s College on Saturday.

The riders, who are members of Dream Riders Kerala, began their campaign from Nirmalagiri College at Koothuparambu on Friday. C.K. Abdul Rahim, executive chairman of the State Legal Services Authority, inaugurated the programme held here.

Members of the Student Police Cadet, Ernakulam, and NCC, and students from various schools attended. Hibi Eden, MP, flagged off the remaining leg of the rally, which will conclude in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday.
