An ATM counter located near the S.B. College here caught fire in the wee hours of Thursday. According to the police, the ATM of the State Bank of Travancore (SBT) caught fire around 3.30 a.m. An air-conditioner was completely destroyed in the fire. However, there was no damage to the cash stored within the ATM machine. The cause of the fire could be ascertained only after a thorough investigation of the ATM machine, the police said.
