Film on Kayyur struggle launched

CPI(M) State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan performed the ceremonial switch-on of the production of a film on Kayyur struggle, at a function here on Tuesday. Several film actors and political leaders graced the function.

Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Captain Raju, M.Rajiv, MP, were among those present.

The film is being produced by Rafi Mecartin. The Kayyur struggle represents a saga of opposition to imperialism in pre-independent India.
