A Special Court for the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday relaxed the bail condition of Soofiya Maudany, an accused in the Kalamassery bus burning case, for two weeks to enable her to visit her husband and People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Nazir Maudany, now lodged in a jail in Bangalore in connection with a bomb blast case.

The Court also directed her to furnish to the NIA details of her travel and stay in Bangalore. In her petition, she pleaded that her bail condition that she should not leave Ernakulam district without the permission of the court be relaxed for two weeks as she wanted to meet her husband.
