6-year jail for ex-manager of Supplyco

A former shop manager of the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation (Supplyco), Hamsa of Thottakkattukara, has been sentenced to six years’ imprisonment and a fine of ₹2.20 lakh by the Vigilance Special Court, Muvattupuzha.

The conviction order was passed by the Special Judge, Kalam Basha.

The case was that he had misappropriated funds while working as the shop manager of the Civil Supplies Corporation branch at Kariyad near Nedumbassery.
