44% CBSE students gain MG admission

About 44.33 per cent of CBSE students who applied for various undergraduate courses under the Mahatma Gandhi University’s Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) have gained admission.

Out of the 5,547 applicants who pursued Class 12 under the CBSE, 2,459 students received admission, with the authorities publishing the second allotment list on Monday.

State stream

About 39.89 per cent of the applicants under the State stream got admission for the undergraduate programmes for 2015-16. Out of the 60, 823 applicants, 24, 265 students got admission under the online CAP.

The remaining 15.78 per cent of students belonged to other boards/institutions.
