Excited about making a video on TikTok while taking bath in a lake, a youngster drowned in Thumar lake of Dulapally, Petbasheerabad, on Tuesday. The incident came to light only on Thursday after the video of his drowning went viral on social media.
According to police, victim Begari Narsimhulu (24) from Sangareddy and his cousin Prashanth went to the lake to take bath and were making videos on TikTok.
“As Narsimhulu was bathing, Prashanth was taking videos and the former drowned,” police said. Based on a complaint lodged by Narsimhulu’s uncle B. Ashok, police registered a case.
