Workshop aims at drafting a practical and implementable plan for the Hyderabad metropolitan area

A day-long workshop on the ‘Draft Metropolitan Development Plan for HMDA (extended area)' will be conducted by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association (CREDAI) at Hotel Taj Deccan between 9.30 am to 5.30 pm, here on Saturday , according to a press release here on Friday.

The workshop aims at ensuring that a practical and implementable Draft Metropolitan Plan for the Hyderabad metropolitan area is drafted.

Stakeholders

Several stakeholders and experts are expected to take part in the workshop in which key officials of Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA) and Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) will make presentations on the plan.

To ensure economic, social and environmental sustainability in the metropolitan area, planning issues will be discussed in conjunction with economic drivers to make the plan a ‘strategic document' rather than a ‘land use and circulation plan', a press release said.
