The social media network has been creating rumours and sometimes embarrassing situation for many. Since Wednesday morning a WhatsApp message has been doing rounds depicting the picture of former MLC R. Satyanarayana offering namaskarams with folded hands “Ticket Manade, Gelupu Manade.”

Rumours are doing rounds in political circles that Mr. Satyanarayana has been making all out efforts to get a TRS ticket for the Sangareddy Assembly constituency.

He has been telling his close associates that he made a great sacrifice by resigning for the MLC seat when directed by party supremo and there is nothing wrong in having political aspirations. Recently his cut outs have also appeared in the town. When contacted, Mr. Satyanarayana said he was ignorant about the WhatsApp message. “I did not approve that message and in no way connected to it. I had even taken those who forwarded the message to task,” he said.

However, MLA Chinta Prabhakar rejected to respond over this stating that he was against commenting against anyone. “Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been getting surveys done and assessing the performance of MLAs. He knows who was strong and can win the elections and would allot ticket for those persons only. If he feels that I cannot win the elections he will direct me to support someone else. If he directs I am ready to do so. At the same time I am making myself available for the public of the constituency and am just a phone call away. I took up several development activities. It was up to the Chief Minister to decide who should contest,” he said.
