With the fee fixation process for engineering courses almost complete, officials have decided to open the web options from July 6 to July 8.

The Telangana Admission and Fee Regulation Committee (TAFRC) that met on Thursday completed the process of finalising the fee structure of all colleges.

The file has been sent to the government for its nod and the necessary process of giving the government orders for the same.

A separate G.O. is issued for each college as the fee structure varies from institution to institution depending on the proposals submitted by them.

Not much hike

TAFRC is said to have dismissed the hard bargain of some top colleges that submitted proposals for enhancing the fee over ₹ 2 lakh.

The highest fee this year could be around ₹1.30 lakh and the minimum ₹ 35,000 with large number of colleges figuring in the ₹ 35,000 bracket.

Fee in the sought-after colleges that moved the court as well will see an enhancement of 15 to 20% only and not huge increase that they sought.

However, officials refused to give details of the final figure saying the government was yet to give its nod.

This year 64,709 seats will be available in 183 colleges including university and private colleges under the Convenor quota.
