Ravindra Bharathi wore a different look and gave the visitors a pleasant surprise with the building’s façade playing 3D videos for the last three days marking the Bathukamma festival celebrations.

The video mapping for Bathukamma was to highlight the features of the festival and the celebrations involved in it. A seven-minute display of the festival and its celebrations with animations were projected from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on all three days.

Thousands of people watched the video and appreciated the adoption of technology in showcasing the different facets of the festival, said an official. Video mapping is the latest technology where videos, pictures and animations can be projected on to buildings, screens or any surfaces. This is the first time ever that the Government of Telangana introduced video mapping as part of the festival celebrations.
