Grilled and roasted, reasonable and relishing -- that's how chicken bite is going to be at the Venky's Xprs, the new food outlet of the poultry giant Venkateshwara Hatcheries.

And the promise of juicy chicken bites prepared in ultra-hygiene kitchens came from none other than the ‘Munnabhai' of Bollywood Sanjay Dutt who inaugurated the Venky's second ultra-modern outlet at Hi-tech city on Monday. “Believe it for quality and value for money,” was what he said during an interaction with the media earlier. The first outlet in Banjara Hills is already a relishing hit.

On offer at the outlet are mouth-watering chicken treats, and vegetarians too will not be disappointed as couple of relishing options are also available for them. B. Venkatesh Rao, Joint Managing Director of Venkateshwara Hatcheries, said the outlet uses only in-house chicken and sources vegetables, spices and ingredients from the best farm and plantations across the county. Health and diet conscious customers can dig into any of their favourite dishes as all the chicken snacks are either grilled or roasted. In fact, 99 per cent dishes are grilled.

100 outlets planned

Mr. Rao said another 100 Venky's outlets will open across the country including 10 in the State in the next two years. Apart from hygienic and tasty food Venky's will serve the farmers promising them good rates throughout the year. A fully-equipped centrally-controlled food testing laboratory in the city will keep a constant check on quality and hygiene of all the outlets across India. The tie-up with Campden BRI, UK, will ensure that Xprs gets access to the best food technologies and services, Mr. Rao said.
