Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam in Vemulawada here was packed to the brim on the first Monday of the Karthika masam.

Devotees formed serpentine queues after taking holy dip in the holy tank for darsan of the presiding deities.

Heavy rush was witnessed for the traditional practice of tying an ox at the temple. The womenfolk were seen lighting lamps.

Temple Executive Officer D. Rajeshwar visited the temple and inspected the sanitation arrangements and queues.

Mr. Rajeshwar also supervised the distribution of prasadam counters and annadana satram, and inquired about the food quality served to the pilgrims.
