Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday interacted with the officials of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Hyderabad airport for nearly 30 minutes, before leaving for Ranganayakula tanda in Rangareddy district to launch BJP’s membership drive.

CISF’s Additional Director General (Airport Sector) M.A. Ganapathy made a powerpoint presentation about their role in aviation security and technological upgradations at aviation security group, followed by a screening of 4.20 minutes short-film on CISF at the ceremonial lounge of the RGIA.

“As the Home Minister was in a hurry, we did not get enough time to discuss other issues,” an officer said.

Later, Mr Ganapathy visited CISF unit line and administrative building. He also inspected the technical initiatives for passengers, including ‘Face Recognition System’, e-boarding system, ATRS system and express security check. Governor E.S.L Narasimhan, Union Home Minister of State G Kishan Reddy, DGP M Mahender Reddy, Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, Intelligence IG V Naveen Chand and CISF DIG Sachin Badshah were present.
