Two budding TV actors were killed and two of their friends suffered severe injuries when their sedan crashed into a tree at Appareddiguda under Moinabad police station in the early hours of Tuesday.

Shamshabad Deputy Commissioner of Police N. Prakash Reddy said that the accident took place between 5.30-6 a.m. when the victims were returning to Hyderabad after completing a late night photo shoot at the picturesque Ananthagiri Hills in Vikarabad. The victims were identified as Jadi Bhargavi (20), a student-cum- TV artiste, and Kuthuru Anusha Reddy (23), a TV actor, both from Manikonda.

While death was instant for Bhargavi, a native of Dassurabad mandal, Nirmal, who was seated next to the driver, her friend Anusha, who succumbed at OGH and was from Jayashankar Bhupalapally, was on the rear seat. Police ruled out any foul play and said it was due to human error. Maganti Vinod Chakravardhan (22), an actor from Manikonda, who was driving the car, apparently dozed off, Mr. Reddy said. Vongurala Vinay Kumar (26), a photographer from Manikonda and a native of Vizag, was also injured.
