In what appeared to be a suicide pact, two persons of a family were found dead and another, head of the household, was rushed to a private hospital in the wee hours of Wednesday. A note signed and left behind, purportedly, by the man, read: “Excuse us mom and dad, life is not worth living,” and added, “Dad, please clear this small debt.”According to the Miryalaguda Two Town police, the family of P. Lokesh, 45, staying at Santosh Nagar in the town, allegedly consumed a soft drink laced with pesticide. The incident was reported at around 2.30 a.m. Lokesh called up his brother Vigneswar in Nalgonda before taking the extreme step, and he alerted the emergency service by dialling 100. By the time the police reached the house, Lokesh was in an unconscious state while his wife Chitrakala, 40, and their Lohit, 13, were already dead.
