Two killed, three hurt as car rams jeep

Two persons were killed and three others sustained injuries when a Skoda car rammed a jeep at Rajendranagar on Monday.

The victims, Prakash and S. Rajesh were coming towards Aramgarh after attending a function at Gagan Pahad when the accident took place. “The driver apparently did not notice the jeep parked on the service road near Agriculture University and rammed the Skoda car into it,” Rajendranagar sub-inspector Srinivas said.

Prakash and Rajesh were declared ‘brought dead’ while three others Jagadish, Srinivas and Srikanth who sustained injuries, were shifted to a private hospital. The police registered a case and are investigating.
