Two held in theft of gold jewellery

Hyderabad Central Crime Station officials solved a sensational theft of 7.7 kg of gold jewellery worth Rs. 19 lakh, committed in Chennai a few days ago. Two persons, Champalal and Narender Singh, were arrested and the stolen property was recovered.

Champalal works for Mohanlal jewellery company in Chennai. While returning to Chennai from Madurai after collecting the jewellery and cash, he enacted a drama of theft and lodged a complaint with the Chennai police.
