Two brothers travelling by a motorcycle on the NH 65 were killed, when a tractor coming in the wrong direction hit them here on Monday.
The parents of three sons, Saidulu and Mangamma, had lost their eldest son only two years ago when he committed suicide, it is learnt.
The victims identified as P. Veeraswamy, 29, and P. Venkata Narayana, 31, were travelling on their motorcycle near Bharakatgudem village on the highway when the tractor coming in the opposite direction rammed into them, the police said.
They reportedly started from their Chinnarigudem village in the Chilukulu mandal, and were going to their relatives place, a nearby village. The tractor driver went absconding and the police has launched a manhunt and an investigation into the incident.
