Two minors were feared to have drowned in a lake on the city outskirts on Sunday.
John Paul, 14, and Dinesh, 13, were residents of Aithvelli village.
On Sunday afternoon, the boys left their home telling the parents that they were going to play. In the evening, an acquaintance approached the parents of one of the boys, saying he had seen the two children drown in the Aithvelli tank in Medchal mandal.
The parents of the missing boys lodged a complaint with the Medchal police.
According to officials, the teens did not know how to swim. They suspect that John Paul and Dinesh might have slipped into the tank accidentally. Search is on to trace the missing boys.
