Visuals of the unidentified cyclist and his associate, who were suspected to have planted the IEDs at Dilsukhnagar, were also captured by the traffic surveillance camera at Lalazar in Malakpet railway bridge. Investigators examining visuals recoded by the traffic surveillance cameras from Chaderghat to Dilsukhangar hoping to identify persons involved in the Dilsukhnagar terror strike stumbled upon this footage. “However, images of the suspects were not clear even in this footage,” a police officer said.
Not willing to leave an iota of clue untapped, police collected footage of cameras recorded by over 30 cameras from Chaderghat to Saroornagar in external discs. Special teams made minute examination of the entire footage. They could ascertain the route taken by the suspects for nearly two kilometres from Chaderghat and infer that the IED planters came from either Chaderghat side.
Meanwhile, sources in the National Investigation Agency said the case of Dilsukhnagar blasts was not yet transferred to it by the State government.
