Telangana State Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan meets Modi, Shah

Submits reports to PM on anti-plastic initiatives at Raj Bhavan

Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister for Home Amit Shah in New Delhi on Tuesday. The Governor said the Prime Minister appreciated several unique initiatives taken up by the Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad.

Ms. Soundararajan submitted a report to Mr. Modi on various initiatives taken up to make Raj Bhavan plastic-free, on organising yoga classes, blood donation camp through Indian Red Cross Society etc. In her 40-minute meeting with the PM, she informed him about her participation in several social programmes in the State.

She also handed over a recent publication on Bathukamma festival, organised for five days at Raj Bhavan, to Prime Minister and Home Minister, according to a release.
