Keesara police apprehended three persons for allegedly stealing cash from a branch of Karur Vysya Bank in Nagaram.

The accused are Sai Ram Kiran (26), Narsing Rao Pooja (23) and Thattikonda Nagaraju (28).

Police got a complaint on December 21 from NCR India Private Limited assistant manager M. Krishna Reddy, who said his employers had taken on contract maintenance of ATMs from the bank, and that he found ₹ 47,37,700 stolen. After analysing CCTV footage, police concluded Sai Ram, an ex-employee of a security company, had keys to the ATM.
