Training camp on use of PD Act

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police M. Sreedhar Reddy inaugurated the three-day training camp on the use of Preventive Detention Act for police officers of Nizamabad, Bodhan and Armoor police sub-divisions here on Wednesday. He said cases could be booked under the PD Act against those who indulged in regular land occupations, robberies, human and drug trafficking, hooliganism and chain snatching. He asked the station house officers to create awareness among the lower rung staff after going back to their respective work stations. Additional DCP (Admin.) Akula Ram Reddy was also present.
