A day after the Rachakonda police rescued 11 minor girls from a group of traffickers in the temple town of Yadagirigutta, the police has now focused its attention on questioning the eight accused by obtaining police custody in next few days.

Speaking to The Hindu Bhongir DCP E. Ramchandra Reddy said they will obtain police custody of the accused to learn the whereabouts of the rescued girls.

The minor victims had told police personnel that they were lured by the accused persons particularly the women by offering chocolates and ice creams from railway stations, bus stations and other places a few years ago.

Based on a tip-off on Monday, Special Operations Team of Bhongir Zone raided and rescued minor girls from brothels.

The Telangana police personnel are also looking for doctor Swamy, who reportedly administered hormones to the girls for early puberty and development.
