A businessman accused of adulterating ghee by mixing it with vanaspati (also known as dalda) was detained by the Hyderabad Police Task Force after raiding his shop at Nallakunta on Tuesday.

Adulterated ghee weighing 60 kg was seized from the detained Perumal Srinivasan, 53, after searching his Sri Sai Jagatha Ghee Stores and Coffee Shop. “He was selling it as pure ghee to customers,” TF (East) Inspector S.
