Telangana Non-Government Officers (TNGOs) Association district president A. Kishan has ruled out the reports that employees mostly voted for Congress-led People’s Front in the just-concluded elections and added that over 80 % employees cast their vote in favour of the ruling party in this election.

He said some people were deliberately spreading rumours against the employees.

Addressing media here on Saturday, he said government employees in the district were getting their problems solved by conveying them to the government through Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha. Further, she had helped the association build a Kalyana Mandapam costing ₹1 crore. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had positively responded to 60 % fitment and also 36 % IR, he added.

Expressing the hope that Contributory Pension Scheme would be withdrawn across the country, the Association president said that TNGOs’ Association would stand for the protection of the interests of employees.
