Three members of Pardhi gang held

Three members of the inter-State Pardhi gang, who were involved in at least 12 robbery cases in and around Hyderabad, were arrested by the police. Osmania University Police team went to Bhopal and apprehended the accused. Three more are absconding.

P. Satish Reddy, a resident of Tarnaka, lodged a complaint with the OU Police that someone broke into his home on July 26 and robbed gold, diamond ring and cash, all worth ₹ 1.4 lakh. Police, with the help of Clues Team collected evidence and examined CCTV footage and gathered technical evidence too. Based on it, they got to know that those who were involved in the robbery were from MP.

OU Police detective inspector L. Ramesh Naik, detective sub-inspector P Gangadhar Reddy and others went to Bhopal and apprehend the accused persons on August 4.

“Three accused Manisha Disco (35), Ali Raza Khan (33), Roopa Bai (45) were arrested,” said Anjani Kumar, Hyderabad Police Commissioner, addressing a press conference on Saturday here.

They were brought to OU Police Station and the stolen property was recovered. The accused were remanded to judicial custody. The police stated that the accused confessed to 12 cases in Hyderabad, Rachakonda, Cyberabad, Warangal Commissionarates and Andhra Pradesh.
