With the EAMCET results out and engineering counselling set to begin in two weeks, it is time for students and parents to understand what a course in engineering is all about.

Counselling sessions of The Hindu Education Plus intends to address precisely those issues on June 8 (Monday) with professors from various engineering colleges responding to questions on courses and colleges, apart from the future prospects in higher education and employment in India and abroad.

The experts will throw light on engineering courses such as CSE, ECE, EEE, IT, mechanical, civil, chemical, architecture, and biotechnology. Guidance will also be provided on the online counselling process.

The session in Hyderabad will be held at Sri Sathya Sai Nigamagamam, Srinagar Colony, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Entry is free.

Students will be given a handbook with detailed information on all relevant courses on payment of Rs.100. The event is being presented by ICFAI University.
