Textile associations hail Telangana govt.’s decision

June 27, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:43 am IST - Hyderabad:

The Telangana State Federation of Textile Associations on Friday thanked the State government for its decision to allow retailers to keep their establishments open 365 days a year.

In a statement, Federation president Ammanabolu Prakash said only big shopping malls were allowed to remain open through the year. Denial of the facility resulted in losses to the retailers.

Following the decision, retailers are jubilant and hoping for substantial improvement in their business. The permission is expected to benefit shoppers, improve employability and the State’s economy, he said.
