Telangana State gives nod for Water Grid works

The Telangana Government on Tuesday issued two orders giving administrative sanction for works with an estimated cost of Rs. 18,965 crore being taken up under the Telangana Drinking Water Supply Project (TDWSP-Water Grid).

In the first order, the government gave its nod for works with a cost of Rs. 10,570 crore in respect of segments in Warangal, Adilabad, Khammam and Karimnagr districts. The second order cleared works to be taken up with a cost of Rs. 8,395 crore in respect of segments in Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Ranga Reddy, Khammam, Warangal and Karimnagar districts.
