The Information and Public Relations Department has issued notice to two advertising agencies pertaining to the picture of a woman as part of the photo of a couple in the Rythu Bima advertisement issued on August 14.
According to an officials press release on Sunday, the department officials have asked the agencies concerned to furnish the relevant information regarding the advertisement.
They have also asked the ad agencies whether they had the proper authorisation to use the picture in the advertorial.
The Department has further asked the agencies to comply with the relevant information about the source and authority by August 20 without failing which action will be initiated against the agencies which have used the picture of the particular woman.
Woman’s objection

It is learnt that allegations by the woman on use of her photo without her knowledge and authorisation is also making rounds in the social media.
