Telangana IAS officers to donate one day’s salary

The members of Telangana State IAS Officers Association will contribute one day’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of Kerala.

Mr. Navin Mittal, honorary secretary of the association in a letter to Chief Secretary S.K. Joshi requested for deducting of one day’s salary of serving IAS officers in the State and contribute to the Kerala CM’s Relief Fund.

State Energy Minister Jagadeesh Reddy has announced one month’s salary as donation. The employees of Energy Department through their Chairman and Managing Director Jagadeesh Reddy handed over one day’s salary amounting to ₹ 9 crore.

The Minister said the department was sending electricity poles, meters and other electrical equipment to Kerala beside rice and other commodities.
