The New York-headquartered software consulting firm Techolution has set up an Innovative Product Development Center at Gachibowli in the city.

Managing Director of DBS Bank Siew Choo Soh inaugurated the facility on Thursday. A release on the programme said she highlighted the growing importance of IOT and UI/UX. The technologies are poised to play a major role in building smart cities, smart rooms and smart homes.

Techolution, which has offices in Mauritius and Singapore, started working out in India from a small co-working space near Madhapur, Hyderabad. It has now leased a 9,000 sq ft floor in the Financial District here. Founder and CEO Luv Tulsidas said the company planned to hire more local talent.
