The State government has cancelled Ranga Reddy District Collector’s orders surrendering and relieving Deputy Collector -Tahsildar, Serilingampally, G. Subbarao who faced allegations on various counts.

Report to duty

A government order issued on Friday in the name of Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, asked the Tahsildar to report to duty with immediate effect in the same mandal.

The Tahsildar had surrendered a couple of days ago, allegedly due to various irregularities in land-related issues and non-compliance with Collector’s orders. Based on an enquiry report by a higher revenue official, Collector V. Seshadri relieved him of the duties.

However, the latest GO ordered a fresh enquiry by Joint Collector, Ranga Reddy district, report of which is to be submitted within six weeks to the government for further action.
