May 08, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:43 am IST - Hyderabad:

SuVitas Holistic Healthcare on Thursday announced the launch of a post-hospitalisation care facility with 60 beds at Srinagar Colony here. Claiming it was the first such facility, founder and investor Sateesh Andra said given the continuously growing demand for healthcare, and the tertiary bed capacity growth in the country, transition care can scale up and go beyond a 10,000 bed requirement.

“Our plan is to scale SuVitas to a 1,000-bed enterprise in two years time. We would like to have 15-20 facilities of 60-70 beds each in cities Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata,” he said. The company would invest $1 million on setting up of each facility.
