SSC students of Social Welfare institutions excel

20 schools achieve 100% results

Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society students proved their mettle and came out with flying colours in the SSC 10th Standard results declared here on Wednesday.

They secured the overall pass percentage of 89.10% as against the State average of 84.15 %.

Students from about 125 institutions had appeared for the exam, out of which as many as 20 schools secured 100% results and 77 schools achieved above 90%.

A total of 9,312 students appeared for the exam, girls were 6,417 and boys were 2,895.

Telangana Social Welfare REIS Secretary R.S. Praveen Kumar appreciated the hard work put in by the students and the teachers in getting good results in the SSC examination, a press release said.
