Sharmila case: plea dismissed

Justice Shameem Akther of the High Court dismissed a petition filed by a student seeking quashing of the FIR against him for allegedly making objectionable comments online on Y.S. Sharmila Reddy, sister of YSRCP leader Y.S. Jagan.

Petitioner P. Venkateshwara Rao was arrested by the Cyber Crime wing following a complaint by Ms. Sharmila Reddy.
