Shah to draw road map for polls: Laxman

Inputs for strengthening the party

The city unit of the BJP has made plans to accord a grand reception to Mr. Shah and all the top leaders starting from TS BJP president K. Laxman and others will be at the Begumpet airport to receive him.

He will go to the party office at M.J. Market from there to hold day-long meetings with the party leaders to review activities in the last few months especially the recently held ‘Jana Chaitanya Yatra’.

Giving this information, Mr. Laxman told presspersons on Thursday that Mr. Shah he will laying bare the road map to prepare the party for the forthcoming general elections with the various leaders who have been put in charge of various constituencies of Assembly and Parliament participating.

The experience of winning in Assam, Tripura and Haryana will come in handy for the party to put the special focus on TS and provide the necessary inputs for strengthening the party at the grassroots .

Amit Shah’s visit will come as a boost to the party as his meticulous planning and Mr. Modi’s leadership has worked wonders everywhere and the formula will work here too, Mr Laxman said.

Along with exposing the ‘mis-governance’ of the government, the party will project the achievements of the Modi government. Mr. Laxman lambasted the TRS government of failing to fulfil its electoral promises, claiming credit for Centre’s schemes and not able to build homes to the poor despite liberal funding. TS people were looking at the BJP afresh because they have tried all other parties, he added.
