Shabbir takes dig at Amit Shah

Leader of Opposition in Council Md Ali Shabbir has strongly condemned the statement of BJP national president Amit Shah that there would be celebrations in Pakistan if the NDA loses Bihar elections. “Amit Shah lives in India, but loves Pakistan. That’s why he is relating Bihar elections to the neighbouring country. He should apologise for his comments or explain the link between the results,” Mr. Shabbir said here on Friday. “BJP leaders, including Amit Shah, cannot live without thinking about Pakistan. BJP senior leader L. K. Advani had once praised Mohammed Ali Jinnah. Atal Bihari Vajpayee is still considered the most favourite Indian Prime Minister in Pakistan. Prime Minister Narender Modi felt comfortable in the company of his Pakistan counterpart Nawaz Shariff during his oath taking ceremony, he alleged.
