DSP chosen for United Nations peace mission

D. Pratap, working as the Deputy Superintendent of Police in Ramachandrapuram region of the Vigilance and Enforcement Department here, has been selected for deployment in the United Nations Peace Keeping Mission. It is for the second time the police officer has been chosen for such an assignment.

Earlier, he was deployed in the UN Mission in Kosovo in 2006. Selections for the fresh deployment were conducted at New Delhi from September 28 to October 5.

Mr. Pratap also trained police officers from the State who participated in the All India Police Duty Meet on scientific aids to investigation earlier this year and won three medals.
