SCR General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav presented “Man of the Month” safety awards to employees — pointsman Srinu, loco pilot Ravi Kumar, technicians Gaurishankar and Meena for showing dedication and alertness in the duty and taking timely action to prevent unsafe conditions.
Earlier, he held a video-conference with his divisional managers where he reiterated the importance of punctuality and ensuring safety by minimising asset failures which are leading to late running of trains. Passenger amenities should be be provided as per recategorisation of stations, he added.

Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) organised a technical talk on ‘Block Chain Technology and its Applications to Cryptocurrency’ by computer expert N.V. Narendra Kumar at the Rail Nilayam auditorium on Tuesday. Mr. Yadav, CRIS RGM M. Ravi Babu and other top officers were present, a press release said.
