A 36-year-old man was crushed to death in Kukatpally on Sunday, when an RTC bus hit the motor bike he was travelling on. This happened a day after a woman passenger was killed while 16 others sustained injuries in an accident involving two State-run RTC buses near Debbadaguda gate in Kandukur.

The victim was identified as Raghuramaiah, a resident of V.V. Nagar in Kukatpally police station limits.

The accident took place at 6.30 p.m, near metro rail pillar number 18B when the victim was proceeding towards Kukatpally Y-Junction.

“He was run over by the bus,” police said, adding that Raghuramaiah was not wearing a headgear.

The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy and the bus driver was absconding.
