Rs. 5 crore released for Ramzan

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Md. Mahamood Ali on Sunday said the government had released Rs. 5 crore at Rs. 50 lakh each to every district for the arrangements being made for month-long Ramzan festival. Accompanied by officials and legislator Mr. Ali visited Mecca Masjid and examined the repair works taken up there keeping in view Ramazan. He directed the officials to ensure proper supply of drinking water and electricity during the month of prayers.

Telangana Minister for Industries Jupally Krishna Rao left for the US on a six-day visit. Along with Finance Secretary K. Pradeep Chandra, the Minister will participate in the Biotechnology Industry Organisation (BIO) convention being held at Philadelphia from June 15. The Minister will showcase Telangana as the most happening place and will inform the delegates on the simplified procedures and the TS-iPASS Act, besides holding discussions with heads in biotechnology at the convention.
